Our story

Balboa Soccer Group began in San Diego in 2010 with a simple idea: create a consistent place for people to play soccer and build community. The group grew through friendships, family participation, community partnerships, and a shared commitment to the next generation.
Today, BSG brings people together through year-round soccer, youth development, cultural celebrations, volunteer service, and the annual Somali-American soccer tournament.
